Hmmm...let me think...NO.

I'll go with you if you wear the exact outfit he is wearing in that picture.

The Nuge came into my Starbucks a couple of weeks ago. He was playing a show at Waterworks Park with REO Speedwagon, Kansas (sans Keri Livgren), and Ratt.

I wasn't working, but Blake was. I think he actually refered to himself as "The Nuge."

RATT!!!! I'd be there if Ratt was playing. Nothin' like "Lack of Communication" or "Round and Round" to add some zip to the day.

$12 to get in. $20 for drinks. $50 for the drive in. $80 that could buy 80 loves of bread or your first payment on a truck loan.

Will Ratt be there? I will go if both Ratt, and David Meece get to open.

Jason, I just tried to add to this thread, but you capped it with David Meece. DAVID MEECE! This photo is truly phenomenal. What do you think he was doing with that compound bow? And is it just me, or are those some old 80's Air Jordans?

Jason said...

I think you are right Rob. That compound bow is really what rock, or at least the Nuge is all about.

Okay...I'm never going to visit this blog again if I don't see somethin' other then the nuge in tights. Come on!

Chris, I like that you got singled out like no question--you've got cat scratch fever.

Bean, would you prefer the loincloth?

Ouch...Jackie that hurts. I've come back hopeful that this blog would have changed after a week...no such luck.

No love for the Nuge? Doesn't somebody have something to say about the backwards American flag being an ironically appropriate metaphor for Nugent's fantastical, ultra-right-wing patriotism?

Anonymous said...

I didn't even notice the flag. Again...I'm not an American patriot.

bean, you might as well go to the concert, cuz when you move, every European and Brit is going to hold you responsible for George Bush and Britney Spears.

Firelance said...

Who's next Linebarger, Ashlee Simpson!!??

Bean, careful, living in Europe may help you discover that you indeed are a patriot. I could be wrong though.

Alright, it's Saturday. Who's got the 'jones to go to this concert and stand up meat, guns and all that's right in the land of the free???

Anonymous said...

are you ever going to put up something then this ugly guy in zebra tight pants?

Jackie, you might be my hero if you'd only posted that before the concert. Next time! (For future reference, what would you be willing to pay for a Styx concert?)

I'll go to Derek Webb with ya Chris! But I think Hannah Montana might be considered child abuse. Best to check with a lawyer before dragging your daughters to that one.
